Greg Chambers - SaxophoneA SF Bay Area-based saxophonist and music educator, Greg Chambers is quickly establishing himself on the contemporary jazz scene.
With four albums to date and multiple hit singles landing on the Billboard Jazz Chart, Greg has collaborated with some of the best in the industry, including Nate Harasim, Jonathan Fritzen, Julian Vaughn, Nils, Darren Rahn, Matt Godina, and 2x Grammy winner Paul Brown.
Onstage, Greg has performed with or opened for Evelyn "Champagne" King, Howard Hewett, Eric Darius, Herbie Hancock, and Wayne Shorter.
Also a classically-trained saxophonist, Greg earned a Master of Music Degree in Saxophone from UCLA and has worked with the New World Symphony in Miami, FL, the Spoleto USA Festival Orchestra, was the Saxophone Fellowship recipient for the 2007 & 2008 seasons of the Aspen Music Festival, and has played under renown conductors like Leonard Slatkin, Michael Tilson Thomas, David Robertson and others.
Greg currently teaches at Martin Murphy Middle School and Sobrato High School within the Morgan Hill Unified School District, and maintains an active private studio- his students have participated in the CBDA All-State Honor Band, the NCBA All Northern Honor Band, the Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall, and others
